I haven't seen the pilot for "Harsh Realm" yet, but fortunately I was still able to enjoy this episode.

The episode opens with a bounty hunter arriving at a dilapidated old home inhabited by a poor family. One of the sons sneaks out of the house to warn his father (played by John Pyper-Ferguson), but the father is captured.

Later on Pinnochio is lured into a trap and captured by the same bounty hunter. Hobbes is captured later when he tries to rescue his dog annd Pinnochio.

We learn later on that Pinnochio and JP-F's character are wanted by Santiago because they know something about him.

Back in our world, Hobbes' fiance is approached by a woman named Inga Fossa who tells her that her husband is still alive.

So far "Harsh Realm" is a really fun show. Not as confusing as "The X-Files" but has all the elements that made that show so great.
