The Harts are invited to a unique, off-beat party -- a treasure hunt at a haunted house. When another guest is murdered, the Harts race against time to find the murderer before someone else becomes victim.

    Jonathan and Jennifer are invited to a haunted house party by their friends Fred and Amanda. There they meet the hosts, several guests and the butler, of the old man who had died in the house. Fred, who is a magician and somewhat of a horror freak, shows up on a tray showing only his head. He then tells of a treasure hunt for jewels they are going on, for a treasure that the old man had bought for his bride when he was a young man. Everybody splits up, into pairs but not with the one they came with to keep them honest and make sure everyone gets a share. The Reverend, who was one of the guest, and Jennifer find a diamond and he steals it. Someone then kills the Reverend. Fred and Amanda go into the house to call the police only to find that the phone is dead. The Butler then tells Jonathan that the main jack is in the kitchen. So Jonathan goes into the kitchen with him. He is hit in the head with a skillet by the Butler. He is then made the dumb waiter, as the butler said to Jennifer. The Butler then goes to search the rest for the diamond. Meanwhile Jonathan wakes up still in the dumb waiter. it is an elevator in old houses that they used to deliver food throught the whole house. He then comes down stairs and takes the gun away from the Butler. They find the diamond in the ice bucket, which had flown across the room when Jonathan took the gun away from the Butler. The butler then explains that there are really gems, after the diamond is found to be fake. It had been planted by the hosts so people could find them. The Butler promptly apologizes and tells that he only hit Jonathan on the head so he would not find the gems. The remaining guests and the hosts go out to the cemetery where the old man is buried. They dig up his grave and find the treasure. The man who killed the reverend then pulls a gun on Jonathan they have a fight with the guns. Jonathan shoots him in the shoulder. The Butler gives him the gems to give to whom they rightfully belong. They go back to the house find Max watching a sleep, he fell asleep watching a scary movie with freeway. It was a very good episode.moreless
