      • Beyond the Valley of the Dolls: Beyond The Valley of the Dolls is an over-the-top drama movie, satirically based on earlier film called The Valley of the Dolls. Similiarly, this episode, Beyond The Valley of the Dinosaurs is satirically referencing the television series, The Valley of the Dinosaurs.

      • Titanic: When the cavemen are drawing a portrait of the Potamus, he is sitting upright. Yet, the drawing is a nude of him lying on his side, very similiar to the portrait of Kate Winslet from 'The Titanic'.

      • Valley of the Dinosaurs: The title of this episode is a reference to the 1974 animated series Valley of the Dinosaurs.

      • Dino Boy in the Lost Valley: Dino Boy in the Lost Valley was an animated television series produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions. It first aired on CBS September 10, 1966 as part of Space Ghost and Dino Boy and ended on September 7, 1968. Ugh was a character on that show as well as many other dinosaurs and cavemen. A total of 18 episodes of Dino Boy were made.
