This episode reveals one of Birdman's fatal weaknesses: Getting shot by a gun at point-blank range is lethal to Birdman.
When the Phils call the Harvey Birdmen into the office, three of the Phils keep changing outfits. All together, you see Phil wearing 8 different suits in this one scene.
It is the court's judgement that the plaintiff Yakky Doodle, submit to a court-approved clinic for Chemical Castration.
When the Harvey birdmen enter the Duplication Services building, the wording on the front door reads 'Duplication Services'. A moment or two later, the sign has vanished, and the door is blank.
Everytime Harvey goes to the Duplication Services building, both of the Deadly Duplicator's clocks seem to be stuck at 2 o'clock.
Harvey: Morning! Can I really get this in an hour?
Elliott: Yes, sir. We'll have it done in two hours.
Harvey: Ah, okay! Great! Two hours!
Elliott: Come on back in four hours and we'll have it all ready for you.
Duplicate Phil Ken Sebben: I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. (points to left eye)
Duplicate Phil Ken Sebben: And from this side only! The flight of a half-man, half-bird. Dinosaurs nuzzling their young in pastures where strip malls should be. Cookies on dowels... All those moments, lost in time... like... eggs off a hooker's stomach. Time to die...
Deadly Duplicator: (thinking) His boss didn't manage to rid the world of the scurge of Birdman. I must make more copies of him to shoot, and this time he will eliminate the real Birdman.
X: Chose another verb, buddy!
Deadly Duplicator: (thinking) Oh, ah sorry. He will kill the real Birdman.
Reducto and Reducto Replicate: Aah! Another mintychip-skinned man. Back off. (both shoot)
Reducto Replicate: Oh, thanks kindly.
Elliott/The Duplicator: Every time I create a duplicate Birdman, he simply joins forces with the original. Therefore I must also duplicate someone else, someone who will make Birdman's life misera-double! Ha, ha, ha, ha! (accidently shoots the mirror) Aw, crap.
The Star Spangled Banner:
When the Duplicator, Harvey, and X are in the elevator, "The Star Spangled Banner" plays in the background as elevator music. This song is also the United States' national anthem.
Gleep: In court, when all the Birdmen jump ontop of the deadly duplicator, The Herculoids Gleep is briefly seen in the background. For more information on Gleep, see Grape Juiced.
Blade Runner: Phil says "I've seen things you people wouldn't believe" and continues on about his memories, a famous line from the 1982 movie Blade Runner.
