  • I was at page 270 of the new HP book and I couldn't care less about it, not with the Harvey Birdman final. That was the best episode in history of everything. Dr Who can go and hide. LOST? Heroes? Star Trek? The Simpsons? They've got nothing on Harvey.

There will be a lot of squealing and fangirlish entusiasm in my review (oh and spoliers, duuuh), so beware!

Phil's back. I didn't expect that. I thought that Colbert left the show for good and that there would be no more Phil. I squealed (out loud >_>) when he got from under that bus XD Pity that they didn't bring back Reducto as well but hell, I'd never been his fan anyway and that didn't struck me only after I'd seen the episode so good riddance.

I cannot tell you what I felt while watching this. I literally couldn't hold still while during final battle. The Bird Crew! All of them! With Peanut finally as Birdboy (see? The wings! They do something after all!) I've never thought I'd see them again like that. They'd even brought back people (???) from all of Harvey's on-screen cases. The scene with Harvey reviewing all of his previous cases (37!) in thirty seconds is made of so much win there's not enough win in the world for it. I cheered XD

The whole episode was 30 minutes long, so twice as long as the regular episode, which was only for the best. Harvey's biggest weekness, in my opinion, was exactly the fact the the episodes were so horribly short.

Harvey's death, though spoiled by the title, was still a shock. He survived the fight with Nitron, X's deathray, only to be hit by a bus. Oh, karma, why be like that? :( I also hoped for a conclusive scene on Zardo/X relationship. It's been so heavily hinted there are more than "friends" (or at least, that Zardo wishes them to be more than friends)... oh, well, you know what? I don't care. They'd been great either way :)

So, in conclusion, that had been a one incredible ride, filled with gags, laughter, sarcasm, action, canon slash, main characters you just had to love (PEANUT! MENTOK! AVENGER!), more laughter, beating up my childhood with a stick, memorable one-liners, dialogues made of gold, win and awesome, colorful background characters, insanity, incredibility, superheroes, social comments, parodies and pop-culture references.

Thank you, cast and crew of Harvey Birdman, from the bottom of my heart, thank you ♥
