This alludes to when Mark Hamill, who is in a similar situation as Birdman. Mark Hamill yells at C3PO to shut down the trash compactor on the detention level, in Star Wars IV.

      • Turner Classic Movies: The title of the episode is a reference to the movie channel TCM (Turner Classic Movies) which mainly plays older classic movies. Robert Osborne was a host on the channel.

      • Birdman and the Galaxy Trio: The footage from this episode is mainly taken from the 1967 show Birdman and the Galaxy Trio featuring Avenger, Birdman and Falcon-7.
