(goof) When Rod and Paladin confront Pete, Rod says that he's going to see "Peg" in what is clearly a dubover voice.
Two "firsts" for this series. We learn that Paladin speaks Chinese, at least enough to communicate with Hey Boy. We also find him, rather scandalously, entertaining a young woman in his suite (although he promptly escorts her out for a evening at the Barbary Coast, leaving the rest of their activities to the viewer's imagination).
(goof) After Paladin comes busting out of the barn with the wagon, there's a blanket in the back of the wagon. In the next shot he's got a different wagon and there's a box where the blanket is supposed to be. In the next shot, he's back to the first wagon with the blanket in the back.
Paladin: Hospitality towards strangers is a Western virtue. I hope you gentlemen will see fit to practice it from now on.
Pete: If you didn't have the gun, I'd beat the brains out of both of you.
Paladin: I'm not interested in disproving that.
Blakely: Sorry about last night. I lost my head.
Paladin: It's all right, what's your proposition?
Blakely: It's a woman, Mr. Paladin, I got woman trouble.
Paladin: A thousand dollars' worth?
Blakely: Hey, you!
Hey Boy: My name Hey Boy, not Hey You.
Paladin: Mr. Blakely, I've found that forcing a woman to do anything is very difficult.
