  • The Farmer

    5.5
They had an interesting premise here tonight, but things got way off course when they tried to create a moral dilemma and force drama between Audrey and the rest of her counterparts. It was not any different than how they usually handle things, so for that reason, I was a little disappointed. This is not the kind of the show we expect from Haven.
  • An intriguing plot

    8.5
    Waning: Spoilers follow.

I gave this episode an 8.5. The plot was quite interesting with the guy who needed to replace failing organs in his own body and did it using a troubled characteristic that allowed him to enter a persons body with a special appendage and remove the organ. The plot was much more involved than this though as he had fertilized all his "donors" himself at a fertility clinic to act as his compatible donors. The episode revolved around Audrey and Nathan solving what was going on with this case. There was also a new character introduced, who appears to return in future episodes, in the form of a Boston cop also searching for the suspect. There was also a morale conundrum involving Duke and Audrey which made for an interesting perspective on what is going on. And Audrey is really toning it down with Nathan under the belief that she may soon disappear as she has in her past lives when the meteor shower passes in a bit over a month. And at the end it also appears there is another murderer on the loose in Haven that will appear in future episodes as well. So as I said, a very good episode with a very interesting plot line.moreless

The Farmer was a superb episode of Haven. I really enjoyed watching because Audrey keeps Nathan at a distance now that she knows what may happen soon. The story was intriguing and full of character and plot development as more murders occur and Audrey's abductor is still at large. The trouble with diseased organs was interesting and it was really engaging to see Audrey ask Duke to embrace his destiny by killing a troubled man to stop the curse from affecting many others. The ending was phenomenal and I certainly look forward to watching what happens next!!!!!!!moreless
