  • Returning Series
After his father is murdered, Lieutenant Commander Steven J. McGarrett decides to return home to Oahu in order to catch the killer. The governor offers him the opportunity to run a new task force where he is able to call the shots. Steve brings together his own team, beginning with Chin Ho Kelly; an ex-Honolulu Police Detective and former protege of McGarrett's father. Kelly has been assigned to a federal security patrol after being suspected of corruption. Detective Danny (Danno) Williams is a New Jersey cop who recently moved to the island to be close to his 8-year-old daughter. Kono Kalakaua is Kelly's cousin and a rookie officer, fresh from the academy. McGarrett's team is given full backing from the governor.moreless

    I love Hawaii Five-0! Steve and Danny are so funny together. They play off each other brilliantly and have amazing chemistry. Their relationship is what makes the show for me. When Lori was on the show, I couldn't stand how she was taking away from Steve and Danny's screen time together. Now that she's gone, the show is back to its best formula. I love all of their carguments and just their friendship.moreless

    Pretty epic action show, good storyline and cast, love the little arguments between McGarret and Dano. Look forward to seeing more of this show!
    True Lori wasn't really necessary, but she was pretty hot Lol!! xD

    Scott Caan is too much like his dad. They have the same mannerisms, exactly the same! I hate what they've done to a childhood favorite tv show. These characters should be wearing suits, not jeans and t-shirts! F-A-I-L !

    Please, would someone please dismiss this character. She just doesn't cut it with the rest of the ensemble. It's as if the writers are struggling to come up with dialog for her. She's not a fit and needs to go...sooner rather than later. And does she ever wash her hair! Please don't let her be the "love interest" for McGarrett. I think I'll just vomit. He can do much better. Bring back Catherine! And when she hugged him on his return from capture from Wo Fat? Yikes! Thought I was going to lose it there too. Get a clue CBS, she's just not right and we want to vote her off the island.moreless

    I was a little confussed in the beginning but i cought on. I also thought that Keno, i think thats her name , was being investigated by IA and was kicked off 50 . Or was that a move to catch the bad cops?. Im new to the show but love it so far...
