  • This is why IA are hated by cops

    8.0
IA investigate Chin Ho in his treatment and relationship with his brother-in-law Gabriel.

A nice background episode about Chin Ho and the death of his father, the reason why he favours the shotgun and his other relationships (John McGarrett, Malia, Kono and Steve).

A bit overplayed on the part of Daniel Dae Kim, but Robert Knepper is pure nastiness as a clever IA officer twisting the emotions of his interviewees. Well acted, if the story is a little weak.moreless
  • Time jumping filler episode

    5.0
Time jumping filler episode where we jump between 15 years ago, 5 days ago and present day.
  • Frustrating

    7.0
It was nice to see focus on Chin and get more insight on his relationship with John and Malia. But overall the episode has been an exercise in frustration. Though I have to say I loved the way Robert Knepper played his detective. I wanted to hit him pretty much every time he opened his mouth.
  • Chin is hounded by Internal Affairs due to his handling of a case fifteen years ago that is loosely connected to the murder of Chin's father.

    8.0
Another strong episode of "Five-0". I liked how this episode played out and how everything came together. Daniel Dae Kim is quite good here (as usual) as is the rest of the cast. It was good to see William Sadler in the flashback scenes. I like that the viewer has some insight to John McGarrett and what kind of person he was. It also tells us a bit about Steve McGarrett and how he became to be the person he is today. Character development is a good thing. One small liability is the IAD officers. They seemed a little formulaic. Also, Kim's former brother-in-law seemed almost too cornball to take seriously. However, this is still a very good episode. One of the season's best.moreless
