  • More McGarrett and Grover bonding

    7.5
When Grover's friend is discovered to be a fugitive, McGarrett and Grover team up to hunt him down.

Kono finally tracks down Adam and Danny finds a new girl.

Good episode, again fairly predictable, but glosses over what happens to the young boy. We wouldn't want to spoil a happy ending though would we?
  • Grover discovers his friend is really a fugitive.

  • Shake it-not

While I appreciate the addition of Chi McBride into the mix that is Team Ohana, their constant insistence on making Steve and Grover happen not so much. But I did find the case interesting. Up until that last moment, at least, with Amber in hospital and that apology. That I fast-forwarder through.
  • McGarrett and Captain Grover join forces again when a friend of Grover's disappears after apparently killing a man in self defense.

    7.0
This episode takes a turn away from the usual routine and has Danny and McGarrett going their separate ways. While it is not the best episode I have ever seen, I think "'O kela me keia manawa" worked. The episode's well written script kept me interested all the way to the end. I found the case Danny was looking into to be very far fetched, but still I found myself interested as to how it would play out. Finally, it's nice to see Adam and Kono back in Hawaii. Certainly good to have them back on the show on a regular basis.moreless

    • Steve: So, where'd your boy Jack learn to fight like that, Grover?
      Grover: Hell if I know.
      Steve: Military?
Grover: Jack's a man of few words, he doesn't talk about himself that much.
Steve: Must have been some scintillating conversations between the two of you.
Grover: It's called being humble. Maybe you should try it sometime.

    • Steve: How about you?
      Danny: Me? I'm sick.
Steve: I mean, she's only gonna be gone for a couple of days, Danny, okay?
Danny: You're missing the point. She did the drop-and-run, Steve, okay? Not even barely a kiss on the cheek. All right? And this is not the first time. This is not the first time that I have looked in my girl's eyes and seen something different. I don't know what it is. It's like her innocence is, uh, floating off into space or something. I don't know what.
Steve: Yeah, well, she's growing up. Okay, what are you gonna do?
Danny: I'm gonna build a time machine. I'm gonna go back in time, when she was just a baby, before I met you, to a happy time in my life.
Steve: Okay, good luck with that.
