  • Returning Series
After his father is murdered, Lieutenant Commander Steven J. McGarrett decides to return home to Oahu in order to catch the killer. The governor offers him the opportunity to run a new task force where he is able to call the shots. Steve brings together his own team, beginning with Chin Ho Kelly; an ex-Honolulu Police Detective and former protg of McGarrett's father. Kelly has been assigned to a federal security patrol after being suspected of corruption. Detective Danny "Danno" Williams is a New Jersey cop who recently moved to the island to be close to his 8-year-old daughter. Kono Kalakaua is Kelly's cousin and a rookie officer, fresh from the academy. McGarrett's team is given full backing from the governor.moreless

    Please, would someone please dismiss this character. She just doesn't cut it with the rest of the ensemble. It's as if the writers are struggling to come up with dialog for her. She's not a fit and needs to go...sooner rather than later. And does she ever wash her hair! Please don't let her be the "love interest" for McGarrett. I think I'll just vomit. He can do much better. Bring back Catherine! And when she hugged him on his return from capture from Wo Fat? Yikes! Thought I was going to lose it there too. Get a clue CBS, she's just not right and we want to vote her off the island.moreless

    I was a little confussed in the beginning but i cought on. I also thought that Keno, i think thats her name , was being investigated by IA and was kicked off 50 . Or was that a move to catch the bad cops?. Im new to the show but love it so far...

    She's gone. It's great that the producers have responded to the overwhelming feedback of the the viewers and ended the travesty that was Lori. I like the actress, but she was miscast, and the role wasn't needed in the first place. Now it's back to the original team. Bravo!

    Well, she is really good looking, but... she is so uncool!!! There is completely no connection with the rest of the team: they all have their characters - they are funny and smart and cute. But she is like an iceberg.
    And the idea of a romantic thing between her and Steve?? come on guys!! His trade mark is his bright smile, and she is snow queen....
