    • TRIVIA (5)

      • The recording from the bomber, recorded and played back in McGarrett's office, is not the same recording as that played back to the senator. The words are spoken slower in the second recording, especially the words "You can't save Harlan."

      • When the senator parks on the right side of a double-lane parking meter, the meter on the unoccupied left space has a red flag showing. The flag on the left is still there as the senator pays the right-side meter. But as he walks away, the flag on the still-unoccupied left meter is suddenly gone.

      • When the senator's daughter tells McGarrett that the senator had an appointment at a restaurant, McGarrett asks "What restaurant?". Jack Lord's lips don't begin to move until after we hear the words on the soundtrack.

      • At the end of the episode when the senator and the woman are in the exterior elevator of the Ilikai Hotel, we see behind them glass walls and a view of the outside. After McGarrett breaks through the top panel of the elevator, the glass walls suddenly become wood paneling, suggesting an interior elevator.

      • Melody Patterson was James MacArthur's wife at the time of this episode.
