  • Five-0's spotless reputation is on the line.

A group of shady investors, led by Eddie Calhao (Martin Sheen), try to make their dirty dealings easier by smearing Five-0, in particular Chin Ho, one of McGarrett's most trusted men, by accusing him of taking bribes. They fabricate specific incidents of the bribe-taking by giving dates and times, and Chin Ho cannot offer any alibis. However, when McGarrett questions one of the collaborators, a "trusted" banker, who claims that a man fitting Chin's description opened an account and deposited an amount that matched the amount he supposedly took in bribes, McGarrett asks the man how it is he can remember Chin so well and not any of the other new customers, and the banker is at a loss for an explanation, thus poking holes in his story. After putting Chin on suspension, McGarrett sets out to clear Chin's name, and the climax is very similar to that of first season episode "Samurai".moreless
