Season 3 Episode 14

The Double Wall

Aired Thursday 8:00 PM Dec 16, 1970 on CBS

  • Trivia

    • Nearly a minute before Wilkie fires a bullet through the narrow window adjoining his office door, the bullet hole and the spread-out damage pattern can be seen in two separate shots. When the tall thug exits the office to examine the elevator doors, the bullet hole and damage pattern can be seen. Soon after, when Barney is holding Freda hostage, the bullet hole and damage pattern can be seen in the background, before Wilkie ever fires his gun.

    • At the end of the episode, Barney is holding Freda hostage. Wilkie shoots Barney through the glass window of his office. Based on the position of Freda, Barney and Wilkie's pistol, Freda would have been shot if a real gun had been fired, not Barney.

McGarrett: Look, for God's sake, don't be sorry. You can't appease violence and brutality. Either you take a stand against it and fight it or it'll kill you.
