Hawaii scenery/landmarks: The First Hawaiian Bank and crossing roads in Kaimuki. Billy walks the bum to his car in the Kaimuki shopping center parking lot between 11th and 12th Avenue. It still looks the same! The Diamond Head Road surrounding Diamond Head is in much of the episode. The flat tire scene is at a familiar lookout spot where I parked and hung out with friends back in the 80's, and when the cops came to chase us away we moved on. The same Kahala beachfront property is reused in this episode, with Koko Head and Kawaihoa Point shown on the far left side of the beach.

Notable stars: No big names in this episode. Billy, the local guy in the trio of practical jokers, goes by the pseudonym of Lani Kai. Lanikai is the name of a beach on the windward side of Oahu.

A trio of bored hipsters plays a game with a deck of cards. Jo Louise, the rich pretty blonde, holds a handful of spades facing Billy and Craig, her two beaus. One of them picks a card and has to do what the dare says on the back, where the blonde has written it out along with points. The more dangerous the dare - the more points the player receives, and the winner with the most points gets the girl. McGarrett is called out to the scene of the crimes, where he discovers that the blonde has been photographing each one. He puts out an APB on her and has his men locate and follow her, until she loses Kono by escaping through the back door of a photo shop. When McGarrett and Danno try to locate her car using a tracking device (the cheap looking yellow light bulb blinks faster when they get close!) Danno firsts looks at the light with his tongue almost out of his mouth like he doesn't believe it! As the deadly card game begins to get more serious, tension grows between both male players as they try to impress and win the girl. The joker card holds the act of murder for 500 points and the win. Will Craig carry out the dare? Will he get the big prize, or go home a loser? Does he get the home game and a set of American Tourister luggage for a consolation gift? Is there a drunken bum behind door number 1? Is the price wrong, biyatch?moreless
