    Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

    FILTER BY TYPE

    • TRIVIA (2)

      • The license plate number on Andrea's car is 5E-9500. The plate number on McGarrett's car is the usual F6-3958, as seen in the earlier episode "Samurai."

      • When Fargo helps Andrea climb down from the parking garage to the street, her panties become exposed due to the short skirt she is wearing and the low camera angle.

    • QUOTES (2)

      • Grey: A million dollars?
McGarrett: It's the kind of bait he can't resist.
Grey: If you lose it, they'll take it out of your salary.
McGarrett: What's a couple of hundred years of peanut butter sandwiches?

      • Al, the bar owner: What will it be, Steve?
McGarrett: Oh, water will be nice.
Al: You don't care if my wife and three kids starve, do you?
        McGarrett: You're single, Al. Remember?
Al: Yeah, but my sister's married and she's got five kids.

    • NOTES (8)

      • Both the Oahu Market and the Fisherman's Wharf restaurant are still open, as of May 2007.

      • In this episode, McGarrett says the famous line "Book 'em, Danno" for the first time. However, he does not say the line at the end of the episode as he did in later episodes.

      • Richard Denning appears in this episode as Treasury Agent Philip Grey even though he had a recurring role throughout the series as Governor Paul Jameson.

      • This episode is the first to show one of the Five-O members (Chin) suffering from a serious injury.

      • Edward Tom appears in an uncredited role as a technician with a Honolulu Police Department Mobile Crime Laboratory. McGarrett addresses him as Tom. In the previous episode, "....And They Painted Daisies On His Coffin," Edward Tom played Che Fong. Both characters are forensic laboratory technicians or specialists. Both work with the Honolulu Police Department. Both characters were played by the same actor and yet one was Che Fong and the other was Tom (last name or first name unknown).

      • Johnny Fargo's boat was named Alika. Alika is a Hawaiian name meaning "protector."
