Recurring Role |
After McGarrett receives the call that a car was found in the water, he misses the cradle when he hangs up the phone, makes a slight attempt to place it correctly but then leaves it hanging off the hook.
During the final Hong Kong scene, a shot of Connors (played by William Windom) is shown reversed. The writing on the wall is backwards. A few seconds later another shot is shown normally.
While discussing Howe's death with McGarrett, the coroner points to the back of the skull and states that the bullet entered the lower mandible. "Mandible" refers to the jaw, which is located at the front of the skull. More specifically, when referring to humans, the term "mandible" denotes to the lower jaw. The term "lower mandible" is not used to describe human anatomy.
The scene of the car being pulled out of the water was taken from the Season One episode "The Ways of Love" with the dialog edited out.
The official syndication number for this episode is 6914.
Harry Endo makes his first appearance in the series. He plays Kaspar, the bank manager, in this episode. In the following episode, "Blind Tiger," he would take over the recurring role of Che Fong.
