He & She

Show Summary

Comedy that aired on CBS during the 1967-68 television season that starred real-life husband and wife Richard Benjamin and Paula Prentiss as Dick and Paula Hollister, a young New York couple making their way in the world. Dick was a cartoonist and Paula was a social worker. Jack Cassidy co-starred as Oscar North, an egotistical actor who played the television version of Dick Hollister's cartoon character Jetman. Despite good reviews from most critics, the show never caught on in the ratings and lasted only one season.

Terrific show, with an hilarious turn by Jack Cassidy at his most pompous. The leads, played by real life married couple Richard Benjamin and Paula Prentice, were perfectly matched as lovers and foils. I hope their home life has remained as funny and loving all these years...A truly sophisticated romp!
