(Ponopolis starts dancing with Dick when he enters.)
Paula: Dick, what are you doing here?
Paula: What are you doing home?
Dick: Never mind that. Who am I dancing with?
Paula: (about Ponopolis) Poor soul.
Dick: This is headquarters for poor souls.
Dick: Haven't you ever seen the show? Oscar North--the star of Jetman.
Cornell: The actor?
Dick: No, just the star.
Oscar: (about his costume) How do you like it?
Dick: Oscar, did you have that made or did you get it off the rack?
Cornell: I'm pleased to meet you.
Oscar: I can understand that.
Cornell: My kids always watch your show.
Oscar: So do I. It's for adults too, you know.
Cornell: (about Oscar) When is he serious and when is he kidding?
Dick: Oh, he's serious. He wants to work with an animal.
Dick: Because when you work with an animal you don't have to share dialogue.
Paula: That's our answer.
Dick: What's our answer?
Paula: We adopt Mr. Panopolis.
Dick: Adoption--that's for babies.
Paula: Sure, sure, everyone wants to adopt babies. Nobody wants the older kids.
Paula: What are you saying?
Dick: Never mind what I'm saying just listen to me.
