During Orko's second "flashback," the "narrator" explained that he provided laughter when they needed it most, but there was never an explanation of why the cheering up was needed.
When 11-year-old Adam is stuck in the swamp, he has a younger voice, but in the next flashback, his voice is that of his older self.
Faceless One: Still wasting your talent in the service of Skeletor, I see.
Evil-Lyn: Skeletor is power. Power I will share and one day take as my own.
Evil-Lyn: (gasps) The things I do for family.
(Skeletor is trying to open the gates of Castle Greysull with the Ram Stone)
He-Man: Why not just knock with that bonehead of your?
This episode re-tells the story of how Orko comes to Eternia. Based on the script notes putting Adam at 11 years old in the flashback, this means Orko has lived on Eternia for 5 years.
Larry DiTillio served as story editor and writer for the original He-Man series.
If you study them carefully, it seems that Evil-lyn's costume is a feminine version of the Faceless One's - possibly, she and her father used to work together before whatever happened that caused their falling-out.
