At the Royal Palace, Roboto beats Orko at a game of virtual chess due to Orko's lack of strategy. Lord Dactys and his Spelean guards arrive at the Royal Palace to tell King Randor that King Hiss was sighted in their part of Subternia. Prince Adam arrives at Castle Grayskull with Orko. The Sorceress tells Adam that Zodak can't help out this time due to he's in deep meditation. The Sorceress still hasn't recovered from King Hiss venom, but she does have a part of what King Hiss was looking for which involved a big ring and the Sea of Rakash. Prince Adam turns into He-Man while Orko goes to look in the history text for clues and a good strategy. Somewhere underground, King Hiss reads his research to Kobra Khan, Tung Lashor, and SSSQueeze about the Serpent's ring. Back at Castle Grayskull, Orko reads to The Sorceress about the Serpent's Ring and said that it was hidden in the Caverns of Rakash by The Elders right after King Hiss and the Snake Men were sealed away and before Hordak caused a separation spell that collapsed the caverns While approaching the Sea of Rakash with Man-At-Arms, Mekanek, and Teela, He-Man is told by Man-At-Arms that their underwater suits will help them battle the Snake Men underwater as the Masters dive into the sea.moreless

      ADD TRIVIA
      • Talk about someone without any sense! Why didn't King Hiss turn He-Man into a snake man as well as Teela, Man-at-Arms, and Mekaneck? Hiss could have won! But then, that would end the series, as well. Response: It seems pretty doubtful that the "most powerful man in the universe" could be turned into a Snake Man at all. The power of Eternia is literally flowing through him the entire time he's He-Man. Wouldn't it make sense that he'd be immune to becoming a snake man?

      • Orko reads that the Elders hid the Serpent Ring in the Caverns of Rakash, before Hordak's separation spell turned them into the Sea of Rakash. But, as we see in the next episode, the Council of Elders didn't EXIST until after Hordak had been banished to Despondos! MAJOR goof-up!

    • QUOTES (5)

      ADD QUOTES
      • "My apologies Mekaneck." - Roboto, punching Snake Mekaneck.

      • He-Man: "You've got to fight it Duncan..." Snake Man-at-Arms: "I can't... nor do I WANT to!"

      • He-Man: "The Sorceress had a vision of the Sea of Rakash... we should find them there." Teela: "Did she also have a vision of us kicking snake butt?"

      • Orko: There is only one thing a Snakeman fears... [Rattlor looks on with confusion. Orko takes out a small mongoose from his robes and transforms it into a Battlecat-sized mongoose.] Rattlor: Aah! Mongoose! I'll talk! I'll talk!

      • Actually, the correct quote was: Orko: "Snakes have one natural enemy..." [He takes a mongoose out of his coat; Rattlor looks confused; Orko casts a spell and it grows into a Battle-Cat-sized mongoose.] Rattlor (panicked):"Ahh! Mongoose! Keep it away!! I'll talk! I'll talk!!" Orko (casually): "I'm waaaaiting..."
