      • When the Sorceress is telling the story of Hordak's spell, you can see three Kulatuks in an icy mountain when the sky turns black.

      • In the scene where He-Man employs the help of the dragon from "Dragon's Brood" the episode's writer Larry DiTillio originally wanted to use his classic creation Granamyr from the original series. However, the bosses at MYP had forbidden him from using Granamyr in this series, so instead he created a dragon called Agramyr who had the power of speech and was similar to Granamyr in personality. However, MYP were not impressed as they refused to allow any kind of talking dragon in the series, so they asked him to use the dragon from "Dragon's Brood" instead.

      • The Shadowy Figure seen in The Sorceress's flashback is Hordak, the mentor of Skeletor and the main villain of the classic She-Ra cartoon

      • The dragon that helps He-man is the same dragon Adam and Teela helped in "Dragon Brood."

      • Vormus appears to be of the same race that Skeletor was when he was Keldor.
