    • TRIVIA (5)

      ADD TRIVIA
      • King Grayskull had a green lion who served him the same way Battlecat does to He-man. Yet this lion is much larger than Battlecat, who is a tiger. This is a major goof in nature. Tigers are the largest members of the cat family, lions are only the second largest cats.

      • They never said what was the ORIGINAL Sorceress's name in the original series. Kodak Ungor was just the Sorceress BEFORE Teelana. The show never said she was the first.

      • Continuity error: in the original Filmation series, the first sorceress' name was Kodak Ungor.

      • And regardless of ANY of that - SO WHAT? This isn't the old series, so this is NOT a continuity error. You might as well say that Orko's robe being red instead of pink is a continuity error. It's a change they've made for the new show, and to be honest, all of these remarks should be removed, because it's not a goof.

      • Response: The writers possibly changed the name of the original Sorceress.

    • QUOTES (2)

      ADD QUOTES
      • King GreySkull: Rule with Courage, Rule with Kindness and by my name he who has my sword will have my Power.

      • Re: I smell She-Ra setup: Probably not. He-Man is smaller than Grayskull because Adam is also physically smaller. One could imagine what Randor might look like if he could call upon the power of Grayskull.

    • NOTES (10)

      ADD NOTES
      • Clarification: The defeat of the Snake Men spoken of in this episode is NOT the defeat that leads to them being sealed in the Void. The defeat in this episode was at the hands of Hordak, getting them out of his way so he could rule Eternia. The defeat that sees them sealed in the Void is at the hands of the Elders and Zodak, and the Elders don't come into being until the end of this episode, hence the creation of Snake Mountain, the Snake Men taking up residence there, their subsequent attempt to seize power, and their defeat and sealing in the Void all occur later.

      • The original Sorceress's (King Grayskull's wife's) name was Veena.

      • Since Orko is not the first Trollan to come to Eternia, Trolla and Eternia must have some sort of link between them.

      • We find out that King Greyskull's power flows through Adam when he becomes He-Man

      • Horde Info: The Horde Troopers alongside of Grizzlor, Mantenna, and Leech are Horde members in "She-Ra: Princess of Power" alongside Rattlor and Tung Lashor. Other Horde members that weren't shown (but are in She-Ra: Princess of Power") are Shadow Weaver, Catra, Scorpia, Entrapta, Octavia, Imp, Dylamug, Duke Dreer, Modulok, Multi-Bot, Dragstor (never was in the series, but was in the toyline), Mosquitor (ditto), False Face, The Dark Riders, Spyster, Twinex, Senador (I think he was reformed), Inspector Darkney, and Vultak.

      • We learn about the origins of The Elders in this episode and why Castle Grayskull has that abyss surrounding it.

      • Classic characters reintroduced and revamped: Hordak, no longer a shadowy figure (Seperation) or a disembodied head (Price of Deceit); Grizzlor, having a more feral Beastman appearance; and Mantenna, more evil looking and more serious than he was from She-Ra.

      • Some of the plot for this episode was taken from the She-Ra episode "The Stone in the Sword".

      • Note how Hordak passed through King Greyskull. And now, how He-Man is half the size of the King. (sniffs) I smell She-Ra setup...

      • First He-Man episode in history to feature Hordak as the primary villain.
