The Kulatak says Eternium is their "most vital resource" but it is not explained how they use it. They live in houses made of the ice and snow of their caverns, they don't appear to use weapons and, as Eternium is described as a hard metal, they surely don't eat it. Given that no one knew they existed until the events of this episode, they most likely don't trade it. Other than some jewelry and trinkets (the necklace the leader wears appears to contain bits of Eternium), what exactly do they do with it that makes it "the very reason they still exist"?
In the confrontation between Skeletor and Stratos, the head of Skeletor's havoc staff dissappears.
Kulatuk Priest: You have earned your trust – not by work, but by deed.
Trap-Jaw: Can't you move any quicker?! You're like all the rest of your cronies - weak! That's why you and the Master's will never win! Stratos: It is you who are weak! You choose evil, and that's a choice made only by the weakest minds! Trap-Jaw: Hey, you're not as dumb as you look! Stratos: That makes one of us then...
Kulatuk Priest: You have no right for our Eternium! Skeletor: Oh, but I do. For you see – might makes right!
The Eternian prison cells in this episode appear to be in one of the palace's towers. Future episodes will show more cells in the abyss below the palace.
