At the end, when Skeletor was hanging from a cliff something is wrong. 1. We saw how strong he was in the first episode. He should have enough strength to pull him-self up. 2 Let us admit he was drained by the belt. Why didn't he call for Beast-Man, who came only seconds later on a griffin (although not called for)? 3 In the episode with the Shadow Beasts Skeletor will survive an explosion and a fall from his flyer. So why doesn't he just force-field himself and drop?
The scene when Skeletor is acting all nice and Evil-Lyn appears, the shot of her panning down to up is also the same from "The Beginning (1)" when she appears for the first time.
Adam: I get it! We make Skeletor wear the belt, he's too embarrassed to be seen outside – we win!
Buzz-Off: Gotta hand it to Skeletor – thinks go wrong, he still gets away. Takes a certain kinda talent.
The actual "Diamond Ray of Disappearance" from the original series can be seen frozen within the ice inside the Ice-cave.
The opening scene is an homage to the pilot episode of the original series. Skeletor seeks possession of the Diamond Ray of Disappearance and is destroyed promptly by He-Man. Although this happens in the original series, the original Diamond Ray just transported people into another dimension.
