Here in the US, I watched the first three seasons of Heartland on Cincinnati's CW on Sunday mornings over the past two years. CW discontinued its airings (as did, I think, all of the syndication packages around the US were discontinued). So I am now watching Heartland on GMC.
Although the local stations showed most of the episodes of seasons 1, 2 and 3 three times, I never did see the pilot. And now that I am watching GMC, I noticed that two episodes from season 3, Second Chances and Spin Out, I'd never seen either. Why were these episodes not included in the original US syndication run?
