The understatement of this episode is definitely cliche. I felt like I was watching a bad sequel to Step Up. After the two first pretty good episodes of this show, we get this? It just doesn't make sense, I was starting to think this show had a chance, but now I continue to be doubtful.

The choreography is usually very entertaining on this show, but in this case, it was rather messy. Everything about this episode was cliche and unoriginal. From bar fights to dancing on a street, this episode spelled cliche. As for Aly Michalka, she should honesty stick to singing. Her character remains unlikable, and she's not selling this whole "wanting to be a lawyer" act. Then of course we got the cheerleader who turns to painkillers, and you can't forget the romance, and and the past. So unoriginal and almost unbearable, because it was predictable, all the scenes. Not the best episode in general, just a bad episode all around. If you want the gist of this episode, just read the guide for it, the only highlight from this episode is seeing Ashley Tisdale acting drunk, but that's pretty much it.moreless

    • Marti: Thank you so much. I'm sorry to drag you down here like this.
Julian: Well, I hope you at least learned something.
Marti: I learned the cops around here have no problem lying.
Julian: Everyone lies. That's my first rule for successful delegation. You work for the lie, you make it work for you.
Marti: I won't ever forget it.
Julian: Look, it's 6AM. Stop kissing my ass, and start working on that assignment I gave you.

    • Red: (to Vanessa) You always did play hard to get. This feels like old times. What do they call it? Deja vu? I love the French. They have a name for everything!

    • (Marti walks into her class, late)
Julian: Ah, Ms. Perkins. In a court of law, what happens when one party is late?
Marti: The, um, late party is held in contempt.
Julian: That's correct. But that's not the real punishment. Does anyone know what the real punishment is? Mr. Pepper?
Morgan: The judge and jury, those who dictate the outcome of your case, they won't take you seriously.
      Julian: Thank you, Mr. Pepper.
Morgan: In the American justice system, perception is reality...
Julian: Please stop speaking, Mr. Pepper.

    • Savannah: (referring to her dress) I bought this for my date with Dan. What does this dress say?
Marti: Back off, this is my street corner.
