  • Savannah continues to impress.

This is another episode that shows why I think Savannah is the more interesting character than Marti. In this episode we got to see that Savannah is such a moral force in comparison to other "religious" characters. She doesn't condemn her sister's pregnancy, even though it would be so easy to do that. Savannah understands that wouldn't help anyone and it's just not her style.

However, she instantly understands that Noah and her sister should in no way be together. It's not fair to him, her or the baby. As her mother says, Savannah was able to be honest about the situation.

Marti's story was kind of dull.

The "perform for the song" c-story was pretty good and expanded on Lewis's character. He is a born leader and has no problem calling things the way he sees it and defending his team from being treated badly.moreless

This episode was another great installment of Hellcats, it was significantly better than last week since now their steering away from the very tired Savannah/Dan/Marti triangle, and focused on the squad, they brought us a solid installment.

We got a lot of feel good moments, and I think I'm finally warming up to Lewis' character, the possible relationship with Nasty Kathy is definitely interesting, but I am not looking forward to another ridiculous love triangle (Lewis/Alice/Kathy).

The choreography was amazing, and it was clearly the best thing about this episode. Marti wanting to learn more about her father was really good, which is strange since I don't usually like Marti/Wanda plots.

The writers were trying to redeem Vanessa & Red's relationship tonight, and it just didn't work for me, Derrick was still the one who got screwed over in the end, I just can't see myself liking this new found relationship. Great episode overall with a lot of noteworthy scenes.moreless

    • Savannah: Why are we cheering for these creeps again?
Alice: We have to, or we lose the song.
Marti: L'il Kim's looking pretty attractive right about now.

    • Simon: (to the Hellcats) You ladies...wearing underwear?
Marti: You guys wearing a dunce cap? You should be. You're underdressed without it.
      Simon: Touché.

    • Matt: (referring to his joining the Hellcats) I'm joking.
Savannah: Right. Yeah, I totally knew.
      Matt: Uh-uh, you didn't.
Savannah: No, I didn't. But please don't joke about cheerleading, it gives me a nervous stomach.
