Not a bad episode of Hellcats, this week, but for some reason or another, I can't really get in to any of these characters. The first two episodes did a good job of getting my attention, but I'm not impressed with last week's episode, or this week's episode for that matter.

The story lines remain uninteresting, and the fact that Marti is still dealing with her mother issues, was kind of annoying since all of her plots have been dedicated to her mother issues. Alice got way too much air time in this episode, she's one of the most uninteresting characters even though she takes painkillers and is borderline psychotic.

Like I said in my last review, Aly Michalka really should stick to singing, that was the best part of this episode, and probably the only thing that stood out really. Savannah is probably the only tolerable one on this show. Her plot was interesting, but everything else wasn't that great.

This episode was one thing, and entertaining hour, so I'll give it that. But this show has to kick it up a notch without being over the top and ridiculous. Give me a reason to keep watching this show.moreless
  • A nice little break from worrying about the upcoming cheer video.

This was a nice episode, in that Savannah got to show off how much of a independent lady she can be from her family. Some ppl might not feel that way, but to watch Savannah stand up to her Mom was great. Even better, and keeping to her Christian faith is how she left. Her Mom might have abandoned her, but she would still love them.

The rest of the episode was good. Marti got to help her Mom out in different types of ways. The cheerleading crew is definitely tight. I don't know too many college age kids that would give up hours of their time and call in favors to help the Mom out of a really new team mate.moreless

    • Wanda: You might as well hang a sign around your neck that says 'I'm sexually frustrated'. I mean, Marti, are you a lesbian? Come out to Momma.
Marti: (referring to Lewis) Okay fine, you know what? I'll go out with him. Just stop talking. Wow! Oh my gosh!

    • Wanda: (to Marti) You haven't dated since Aaron and that was two years ago, which makes you, and I say this with love, pathetic.

    • Wanda: (referring to Lewis) Someone is checking us out, and by 'us', I mean you.
      Marti: Do not encourage him.
      Wanda: Why the hell not?
Marti: He asked me out and I blew him off.
Wanda: With that body? If you're not interested, I will take a swing at that.

    • Marti: (to Dan, referring to Savannah) Hey, why'd she call your relationship casual? That girl wouldn't know casual if it walked right up to her and said 'Hey, yeah, whatever.'
