Episode Summary

Marti faces a tense bus ride to sectionals after admitting to the Hellcats that she hooked up with Dan. Alice receives a surprise visit from her father, who shows up to watch her perform at sectionals. Alice tells Lewis that she never told her father that they broke up or that she was replaced as a flier. To keep her father from learning the truth, Alice blackmails Savannah into giving up her spot as a flier by threatening to tell the Hellcats that Savannah helped Memphis Christian earn a free ride to sectionals.moreless

Hellcats is back with all new episodes on a new night, and it definitely didn't disappoint. We got a lot of twists and turns in the plot here, a heartwarming ending, interesting character development, and just amazing choreography. I think this episode displayed some of it's best choreography. I can only imagine it getting better considering the Hellcats are going to Nationals which is another thing to look forward to this season.

I didn't expect Alice to blackmail Savannah since supposedly she was on her side, but I guess it just showed that Alice can be really evil when she wants to be. When I've watched Hellcats in the past, I've learned the less Wanda, the better. We were getting too much of her here, but I'm glad her scenes faded out by the end.

Nice twist with Marti giving up her position. I didn't expect her to be forgiven so quickly by the whole squad, but I'm glad things will be getting back to normal now. Savannah is still my favorite character, and in this episode, we got a lot of reasons to love her. #1 is how forgiving she is, but I digress. Great episode of Hellcats, can't wait to see what's to come.moreless
  • This is the nicest episode of hellcats for so far

This is the nicest episode of hellcats for so far. Best choreography, nice plot with all the twists, and I love Alice in this episode.

It felt like the episode is really short, I cant blame myself because I've waited for this for so long, but when I think back after watching the whole episode I concluded that a lot of things have happened: First, the whole achy ride for Marti, which she termed as the "worst-seven-hours-of-my-life", the flirting Wanda, the whole squad hating marti ( I really don't get why they hate her so much, Is the whole squad dating Dan?), the Alice's daddy issue, and the whole blackmailing thing.moreless

  • QUOTES (7)

    • Alice: Lewis and I broke up months ago.
      Michael: What?
Alice: I didn't tell you because I knew it would disappoint you. But then I realized it didn't matter because you have been disappointing me for years. You didn't show up today and it hurt. You need to know that.
      Michael: Alice...
Alice: Keep your flowers because I am getting on a bus to go home and they would wilt. Take some time to think about how you're gonna make this up to me. And, if you choose not to, then we'll see each other at Easter and we can both pretend I never said a word about anything. (referring to Kelly) And you're right, this one's a keeper.

    • Marti: This is your first time at sectionals as a Hellcat. You have to fly.
      Savannah: I can't let you.
Marti: This is so small but...it's something I can do for you. Something I can, I can give up for you. So let me. Please.
Savannah: How do you explain that my ankle miraculously healed?
      Marti: Acupuncture?
      Savannah: That's good.

    • Marti: Savannah, you're my best girlfriend. I don't have one of those. I never did before, and I can't lose you.
Savannah: Well if it helps, I enjoyed hitting you with a pillow.

    • Marti: I did something I regret with Dan.
      Vanessa: Savannah's Dan?
Marti: He was my Dan first.

    • Marti: No one will give me a chance to apologize, or explain, or anything. So...I just can't let myself care anymore.
Vanessa: I think you do care. But the one thing I can't coach is desire, so if you wanna give up, so be it.
      Marti: I don't have a choice.
Vanessa: You're as good as any of the girls in there. I can go in there and simply tell them you're flying, but I don't like to run my team that way. But if you decide that your spot on this team, in this family, is worth fighting for, I'm gonna support you.

    • Wanda: My daughter is a very driven girl.
Travis: I've noticed that. You know, she makes my life a lot better.
      Wanda: Yeah?
Travis: Hopeful, you know, like I got a shot at getting out of this place while I'm still relatively young.
Wanda: That is a wonderful thing for a mother to hear about her child. Thank you for that.

    • Alice: (to Lewis, referring to her father) Suppose that I had told him how you stomped all over my heart. He'd probably come to hate you for being cruel and hurtful, and when you eventually realize what a horrible mistake you made and we got back together, he'd have a very tough time forgiving you.
