As predicted, AJ Michalka is now a core part of the series. I don't know if it was just me, but I found the whole half-sister think wildly predictable. I'm sorry, but AJ just cannot act. Aly is fine, but I think it's pathetic how their show casing AJ's singing/acting career just because her highly talented sister is on the show.

My only annoyance aside, Savannah's dad going to prison was actually really unexpected. And I actually enjoyed the subtle rivalry between Nasty Kathy & Savannah. I could have done without Lewis as usual, but I guess I just have to grow to like the guy if I'm going to continue watching.

Seems like Hellcats is building for a big finale what with the pointless Vanessa story line and Rex's whereabouts still being unknown. Overall, solid episode though despite a few annoyances.moreless
