  • This was a very exciting episode and was worth watching.

    9.0
This was a very exciting episode and was worth watching. Overall, the series is not too great but I find myself watching every week. I just like watching how the kitchen of the restaurant functions. The chefs did a good job serving the customers without any training, though the menu only had like 3 choices for each course.
  • Michael was smart.

    8.6
Before this episode, Michael has proven his worth to both the Chef and to the team. He has carried his team (both when he was on the blue team and now that he is on the red team). But now we see both teams getting down to the final people. Instead of spending his time covering his team to get the win, he spends his time making sure he looks good. His desserts were excelent. Then he worked to make sure the other team looked bad by flooding them with orders for the most difficult dish. But his best move was to nominate two members that were the strongest. This eliminated his most skilled competitor on his team. Good move Michael.moreless
  • Can't believe it worked!! Micheal's tactics worked!! And i'm not talking about the lasagna!

    0.5
I can't believe ramsey booted chris over what's her name!! I wish he'd just said that Micheal picked horribly, and he's going instead of either of those.

It really shows what kind of rat he is!

It also shows that it has NOTHING to do with how well someone can cook. Ramsey took offense to the fact that Chris was labled, Executive Chef.

He was ALWAYS the top cook on the team. Always a TEAM leader, and never near the worst.

To me, this ruined the whole show, and just sunk it down into all the other reality shows where you use strategy to screw your buddy.

Jimmy should have gone, hands down.

I sure hope Ramsey makes the red team pay for that decision over the next few episodes, and I sure hope the Micheal pays the dearest with a notice to pack his bags.

    What a tool.moreless

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (5)

    • The Red Team: Chris, Elsie, Jimmy, and Michael

The Blue Team: Ralph, Jessica, and Andrew

    • Dinner Menu: To shake things up, Ramsay threw out the entire previous menu and created a new menu featuring pasta dishes

    • Reward Challenge: To prepare for the change of the restaurants menu to feature pasta dishes, Gordon Ramsay presented an interesting challenge. The two Teams were given 10 minutes to prepare as much spaghetti as possible from scratch. It was to be judged by presentation for serving and total weight, with 2.41 lbs for the Blue Team. The Red Team won the challenge with 2.45 lbs and received an afternoon in Venice, California drinking and dining in a gondola. As punishment, the Blue Team must make pasta for the next dinner service.

    • Service Period: This dinner was split into two 2 hour segments. In each segment, one Team would take orders and deliver the meals to the customers while the other Team would work in the kitchen preparing the meals. The Blue Team did not complete as many dishes during dinner. However, the Red Team's lack of quality in food and service was enough to cost them the dinner service. Red Team, led by Michael, also tried sabotaging their rivals by talking all their customers into ordering lasagna, but the Blue Team were able to keep it together.

    • Best of the Worst: Michael

Nominees for Elimination: The Red Team's Chris and Elsie.

      Eliminated: Chris

  • QUOTES (5)

    • Jessica: Looks like they're pounding us with lasagna, huh? (in an interview segment) It was clear that the Red Team tried to sabotage us. We just had so many orders of lasagnas coming in. Yeah, they're playing dirty.

    • Chef Ramsay: JP! Jean Philippe is standing there taking applause, what, are you signing ****ing napkins? Come on, get your Belgian bollocks over here! Get me the Blue Team, please. Now!

    • Jimmy: (mimicking Ralph's complaints on losing the challenge) 'My mother wouldn't serve that pasta!' Chef Ramsay would!

    • Chef Ramsay: (with pasta draped all over his head and arms) Jimmy, you look ****ing delicious as a blond.

    • Chef Ramsay: (on Chris' elimination) When you come to the kitchen and announced that you're an executive chef, you'll expect a little bit more than what I've got from Chris. He's been telling the world that he had that amount of knowledge, then he should've been 10 times better.
