Season 2 Contestant
Chef asks for one volunteer from each team before service, and Heather and Giacomo are chosen for their teams. They are to be the donkeys, keeping the kitchens clean. But midway through service, Chef Ramsay tells Heather to start cooking, because the Red Team is doing so badly.
For the first time, the series starts off with Men vs. Women. It's also the first time that an eliminated contestant's photo goes up in flames as the jacket is hung up.
Interesting jobs from the candidates: Fishmonger, Prison Cook, Sous Chef, Stockbroker.
Best of the Worst: Heather
Nominees for Elimination : The Red Team's Virginia and Polly.
Chef Ramsay: (after Polly is eliminated) This is a journey, and right now we're going to hell and back, each and every week, to make sure we find the right person. And Polly? No chance.
Chef Ramsay: Tom!
Tom: Yes, Chef.
Chef Ramsay: You're sweating in the ****ing food! We're in danger of being closed down before we even open! Get it in the bin, and start again.
Tom: Yes, Chef.
Chef Ramsay: What is it?
Virginia: It's my coconut, pomegranate and celery root salad.
Chef Ramsay: And what's cooked on the plate?
Virginia: Nuh... The nuts are toasted.
Chef Ramsay: The nuts are toasted. Well, **** me. We've toasted nuts for twenty-nine minutes, and then grated a coconut. (he takes a bite) It's fine... as far as rabbit food goes.
Chef Ramsay: (about Keith's dish) That sauce is piping hot.
Keith: Uh, you should dip into it with care.
Chef Ramsay: I'm going to stop eating with care.
Chef Ramsay (to the ladies for cheering during service): Let me give you a cheer: C-R-A-P. Crap.
