EDIT

It's down to five chefs remaining in the competition as Chef Ramsay merges them into one team. In the next challenge the contestants are competing head to head with individual dishes to impress 100 hungry high school students. One winner (and a contestant of his or her choice) are rewarded with a trip to the Green Valley Ranch resort in Las Vegas. At dinner service, the night goes anything but smooth as one chef is sent packing in the middle of dinner service.

  • TRIVIA (4)

      Winner: Bonnie
Losers: Josh (eliminated mid-service), Jen, Julia, Rock

      Nominees for elimination: Julia, Rock

      Eliminated: Julia

    • Julia is eliminated, but Chef Ramsay tells her that he is personally going to send her to culinary school, and when she's done there, he wants her to return to Hell's Kitchen, where he predicts she will win easily because she's so naturally gifted.

    • Josh's jacket is not shown to have been hung and his portrait burned after his departure mid-service.

    • Reward challenge: Prepare a meal for 100 students at Alhambra High School. The dish with the most votes wins the challenge. The winner and a fellow competitor chosen by the winner fly to Las Vegas and tour the Red Rock Resort, the Green Valley Ranch Resort, and meet HK2 winner Heather West of Red Rock's Terra Rosa Restaurant.

  • QUOTES (5)

    • ( when Josh makes risottos before they are ordered during the dinner service)
Chef Ramsay: Let me just tell you something. We've opened, we haven't served anything yet and we've lost money. What a ****ing donut.

(later, Josh cooks spaghetti before the customer orders it)
Chef Ramsay: We cook spaghetti to order! Even the ****ing dirtiest, scummiest restaurant in Venice Beach cooks spaghetti to order, you donkey!

    • Chef Ramsay: (deciding whether to eliminate Rock or Julia) I've got one guy that is completely driven to get to the top of his career, and one woman who's made the most significant improvement. This is a very tough decision.

    • Bonnie: (after Brad is eliminated instead of her) Does he think I'm entertaining? Is that why I'm still here?

    • Chef Ramsay: To become a great chef you must have a natural ability. Clearly, Julia does have it. All she needs is a little more experience. After that, she will be ready to run her own restaurant.

    • Heather: (giving advice to Julia and Jen) You gotta remember, these people are going to be in the end with you. Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer.
