The remaining three chefs enjoy breakfast with their families, but only one of them realizes that they are being tested. When one chef wins the day's challenge, they enjoy a day of sightseeing and fine dining while the other two are left to a crushing punishment. The chefs face an extremely challenging dinner service that is made even tougher by the prospect of running the hot plate. Following assertiveness testing by Chef Ramsay, the chefs head into dinner service where they're tasked to discover sabotaged dishes during their turns at the pass. One chef makes some major mistakes during service, but finds redemption during the hot plate challenge. With no clear winners and losers, the three face the challenge of each nominating one of their own for elimination.

When Corey was eliminated they did not show Chef Ramsay putting her jacket on the hook and then burning her picture, they showed the previews for the finale instead.
Nominees for Elimination: Christina by Corey and Petrozza and Corey by Christina.
Eliminated: Corey
Dinner Service: Each of the three Chefs get their chance "running the pass" in Hell's Kitchen. In addition, Sous Chefs Scott and Gloria help fill in the gaps left by the missing chefs. However, they are also given the task of purposely making mistakes for each of the chefs to test them while running the pass.
Rewards Challenge: After Chef Ramsay prepares his signature dish for the Chefs and their families, each of them have 45 minutes to recreate the dish as best as they can.
Reward: Christina and her family go sight seeing tour of Hollywood and to dinner with Chef Ramsay.
Punishment: Corey and Petrozza must chop ice by hand and polish the glasses for Hell's Kitchen.
Chef Ramsay:(to Corey after she is eliminated) Hold your head up high. You have nothing to be ashamed about.
Corey: (in her exit comments) I came in here just thinking it was gonna be the easy cakewalk and it wasn't. It was really hard.
Petrozza: I think one day that Christina will be a great chef, but I don't know if it's today and I don't think it will be tomorrow.
Chef Ramsay: (to Christina, who is slouching while running the hot plate) Stand up straight. You're running a kitchen, not an ale bar.
Narrator: With Petrozza and the helm...
Petrozza: The salmon's raw.
Narrator: And Christina delivering burnt fish, overcooked scallops and raw salmon, the kitchen is now at a standstill.
Chef Ramsay: It's not, 'please, may you cook my John Dory.' It's 'move your ass, get it cooked again, that's the fourth time now!' (He tosses a plate to the floor, shattering it.)
Petrozza: Wow. I didn't get to break a plate.
Petrozza: (in an interview segment) I'm more of a quiet guy. I don't like yelling and screaming. So, I got to like really push myself to do that.
Chef Ramsay: Good.
Petrozza: (in the kitchen) Thanks. (in the interview segment) But, I could yell. I could yell.
Chef Ramsay: (to Petrozza) You're a very gentle, caring, big-hearted lump. Tonight, when you're running that hot plate, I want you to take control.
Petrozza: The competition right now is very tough. There's no second place in this competition. It's only about first place.
Corey: (in an interview segment, regarding the crushing ice punishment) I definitely was pretending the ice was Jen a few times. (in the kitchen, stabbing at the ice) Die, Jen.
Petrozza: (in an interview segment, reflecting on the family visit) I feel blessed. It's thanks to my family that I've made it this far.
