Robert reveals that he postponed his wedding to be a contestant on Hell's Kitchen, and that his wedding day was to be held on the same day as this episode's Elimination Challenge.
Rewards Challenge: After being sent to a meat locker, teams are tested in a matching challenge similar to The Price is Right's Race Game. They had to first identify the names of various cuts of meat and then place them in the correct locations on model cows. Reward: The Blue Team won, thanks in large part to a strong performance by Ben. They were sent to Santa Inez by private jet for a wine-tasting at the Sunstone Vinery. Punishment: The Red Team is forced to haul cuts of beef into Hell's Kitchen and butcher them. Additionally, they were served a lunch of tongues, kidneys, hearts and livers.
Nominees for Elimination: Seth and Charlie by the Blue Team. Eliminated: Charlie
(after Chef Ramsay demands Colleen repeat aloud a table's appetizer order five times to prove she knows what it is) Carol: What's next? Colleen: I have no idea what's next. He's been making me yell.
Chef Ramsay: (on Seth's trimming of the filet mignon) Look at the ****ing waste! That's what he took off, and there's the filet. Look at the filet! Giovanni: (in an intervew) He molested that poor thing! People have gone to jail for worse. Looked like he went for it with a jackhammer. Chef Ramsay: (throwing the waste at Seth) We ****ing wasted the most expensive part! Look at it! What are you going to do, get daddy to buy you a new one?!
Chef Ramsay: Charlie is a prep chef. But I'm looking for a head chef. He seems like a nice guy, but you know where nice guys finish.
Chef Ramsay: Three services. I've gotta see it, I've gotta feel it and I don't. Charlie: This is the first job I've ever been fired from. Chef Ramsay made the wrong decision. I did what I could and I worked my ass off for that guy.
Chef Ramsay: These steaks are flying out. Keep it going, yes? Red Team Members: Yes, Chef! Yes, Chef! Andrea: (in an interview segment) I'm absolutely glad I wound up on that meat station. I was excited to be there. I just rocked it out.
Chef Ramsay: (regarding Colleen) She's not normal. She can't be normal.
Colleen: (in an interview segment) There's always that person in your life that's going to be grumpy and, you know, not be nice, but then there's the one like Chef Ramsay who's the arrogant, vicious attack dog.
Chef Ramsay: Hey, madam. You're ****ing pathetic.
Colleen: Yes, Chef!
Chef Ramsay: Come on, Charlie! Charlie: Yes, Chef! Chef Ramsay: Unbelievable, a Caesar salad and we're in the ****. Your cloth's on fire! Your cloth's on fire! J: (in an interview segment) Charlie, wake the **** up, man.
Lacey: (in an interview segment) 1200 pounds of moo cow, the bones were digging into my shoulder, you know, I keep losing grip, 'cause the fat was starting to melt from our body heat. It was awful.
Andrea: (in an interview segment, regarding Lacey's performance at the challenge) Lacey was just moving things around for the sake of feeling like she was doing something and you know what-- that's no different than she is in the kitchen.
Narrator: After an exhausting day, the chefs finally get to bed at 3 A.M. in the morning, only to be awoken three hours later. Ben: They woke us up in the morning at about too-****ing-early o'clock.
