Following the disaster of the previous night's dinner service, the aspiring chefs are presented with what they wasted from the night before, but dodge the bullet thanks to the arrival of some fresh scallops. The Blue Team and Red Team compete in a challenge to properly shuck as many scallops as possible. In an extremely close finish, the Blue Team takes the prize. They win a day trip by helicopter to Catalina Island, but one chef is forced to travel by ferry due to his weight and ends up missing out on the reward. The Red Team endures the punishment of spending the day setting up a "raw bar" for dinner service, but one chef irritates the others by sitting out the punishment due to exhaustion. Just before the evening's dinner service, a chef endures a grueling ankle injury, but makes the decision to tough out the service. Despite a number of snags, both kitchens complete a successful service, with the winning team being the one that finished first. Two members of the losing team are nominated for elimination due to their poor attitude and lousy performance, but are given a reprieve due to a surprise announcement.moreless

come on!!! ive done whole footballgames with injured knees, feet or other. crybaby... as soon as most women get a small injury they start to cry and want to give up. i didnt think it was brave at all. it if was broken it would have been diffrent, but it wasnt! anyway, ok episode. thought Ramsey acted a little bad against the heavy guy though. thats bullying! bring him on a long ferry trip just to tell him that he missed a long day of fun, and laugh while he say it??? ok if he yells at them in his kitchen, but that was just mean and reminds me about a middleschool bully.moreless

Colleen and Lacey really got saved by Ji, both of them deserved to be eliminated they really dodged a bullet. Maybe Ji will comeback later in the season since Ramsay let her keep the coat. Colleen should be gone by now. She can't do anything right, people who got their lessons from her are probably calling lawyers to get their money back.

Seth must be a stalker or something to know that much about the Chef Ramsay. He is such a brown noser, it's ridiculous.

Poor Robert, he wasn't able to go on the helicopter ride and enjoy the reward challenge. I feel bad for him he seems like a good guy.moreless
