Episode Summary

As Lovely celebrates again escaping elimination, tension grows between certain chefs. Ramsay decides to test the chefs on teamwork by pairing chef that don't like each other into partnerships. For the day's challenge, they create perfectly sized sausages. The winning team is sent to an Oktoberfest-like event, while the losing team is made to clean the dorms. During this punishment, one chef has a breakdown when the loss is blamed on them. The evening's dinner service features an amuse bouche appetizer served by two of the chefs as well as celebrity guests. Both teams have their fair share of struggles, but both perform well on the whole and Chef Ramsay awards the win to the first team to complete service. At the evening's elimination, a chef that has been on thin ice for a while is finally sent packing.

    • TRIVIA (2)

      • Rewards Challenge: Chef Ramsay noticed that there was a lot of tension between certain chefs and decided to do pairings for the challenge. For the Red Team, Tennille & Suzanne, Ariel & Sabrina and Tek & Lovely were partners. For the Blue Team, Van & Andy, Robert & Jim and Kevin & Dave were partners. Amanda was told to sit the challenge out. For this challenge, the paired-up chefs had to make sausages to a perfect thickness of six inches. The winning team was the first to complete six lines of perfect sausages.

Reward: The Red Team won this challenge and was rewarded with a private party. At this German-style festival, likened to Oktoberfest, they got to have fun, food and beer.

Punishment: For losing, the Blue Team was made to clean both the Blue and Red Dorms from top to bottom.

      • Nominees for Elimination: The Red Team once again lost the evening's dinner service. Sabina was named the best of the worst and asked to choose two members of the Red Team for elimination. She chose Tek and Lovely. This was Lovely's third time that she was put up for elimination.

Eliminated: Lovely. After having both chefs state their reasons why they should stay, Chef Ramsay asked Suzanne which one she felt should leave. Suzanne went with Lovely and Chef Ramsay agreed.

    • QUOTES (20)

      • Chef Ramsay: Is there anyone here who has never made a sausage? (four of the women raise their hands, but none of the men) Gentlemen, clearly comfortable with your meat... (all the men laugh)

      • Chef Ramsay: If people were named for their cooking, her name wouldn't be Lovely. It would be Useless.

      • Lovely: (in her exit interview) The diva has to leave, but I'm gonna take all these experience, all this tough times, and I'm gonna keep moving forward. It's not too lovely leavin' Hell's Kitchen.

      • Chef Ramsay: Lovely, you're more laid back than a **** ironing board. When was the last time you sweated on service?

      • Chef Ramsay: Lovely, this is your third time up here. Alarm bells are ringing. Tell me why you think you should continue cooking in Hell's Kitchen.

      • Robert: (in the Blue dorms, making fun of Suzanne) He's like, 'Here's a play by play for her. You're a dumb bitch.'

      • Chef Ramsay: That was close. Ladies, you were beaten by the sides.
Suzanne: Chef, can I get a play-by-play on that?

      • Tennille: (in an interview segment) Suzanne doesn't get it, man. Somebody attach a doorbell that girl head, ring the bell, and see if she gets it. You can't give him skimpy pieces of lamb!

      • Robert: Put another lamb in, dude! You can't send some hacked-out ****! I told you that, man.
Andy: (in an interview segment) Robert's throwing me underneath the bus. He's like 'That's not going to work!' It's like, dude, don't **** alert chefs.

      • Robert: (in an interview segment) Andy should be countin' his days, man. (in the kitchen) Let me see. Come on.
Andy: Hold on, don't rush me.
Robert: (in the interview segment) He's got like that little 24 hour clock above his head goin' 'doot doot, doot doot.'

      • Jim: (in an interview segment) I strut. what do you want me to do? I'm not gonna run around. For what? It all gets done.

      • Jim: (in an interview segment) Blue Team's falling apart. We got Dave and his wrist, and we have Kevin and his ankles, and Robert and his morbid obesity, so lotta things weighin' against us there.

      • Scott: Robert, what do you want me to tell you? You could have won, you didn't. You know, but the competitive part should come out at that time and not afterwards.
Robert: ****! (throws off his jacket) I almost died last time for this ****! Don't tell me I ain't **** - I don't give my **** 110%! Dancing around that **** line like Fred Astaire all **** day up in this place! Last season I almost **** died for this ****! I'm here again, I don't want to **** lose it!

      • (Tennille does an interview in which she waxes rhapsodic about the various sausages served at the Oktoberfest-like event that was the Red Team's reward)
Tennille: We had every kind of sausage you could think of. Bratwurst. Notwurst. Every kinda wurst. Man. (at the fest) I officially wanna let you guys know I like sausage.

      • Andy: (in an interview segment) This is how Van communicates--
Van: (in the kitchen) Go, go, stop. Come on, let's go!
Andy: -- like a pit bull next to a fence.

      • Suzanne: (in an interview segment) Tennille and I, we have animosity towards one another, but I said 'Let's brush this off, sister. Let's just do it and trust each other that we can both do it.'

      • Chef Ramsay: Van, the secret of a good sausage is what?
Van: To hold it steady, then pump it slow and easy.

      • Chef Ramsay: I don't think you're very comfortable with each other and in my kitchens, everybody has to work together. So on our next challenge, Tennille and Suzanne will be partners.
Tennille: (in an interview segment) I have never disliked somebody that I've known for less than a millennium this much in my life!

      • (Tenille expresses her continued frustration with Suzanne in an interview segment)
Tennille: She think she a leader. You don't know what a leader is. A leader don't get slapped in they mouth like Suzanne about to.

      • Lovely: (in an interview segment) Chef Ramsay could have easily sent me home. I think that was a scare tactic to get me to realize that I can do it.
