The chefs are challenged to create their own unique lobster dishes. The dishes are judged by Michelin-starred chefs, with Gordon Ramsay left to break a tie after two chefs' dishes are rejected for simply not being cooked to par. The winning team enjoys a visit to a caviar house followed by a shopping spree, while the losing team is made to clean the dorms, then prep both kitchens for service. Gordon Ramsay delivers a surprise by ordering the two teams to work together to complete a dinner service with a time limit of 2 and 1/2 hours. The pressure proves too much for one, leading to a complete meltdown and ejection during service. The dinner service, however, is ultimately a great success, leading to another surprise at the elimination.moreless

Season 7 Contestant
This year's Red Team is the only team in all the seasons so far, to have never won a dinner service. They also only won three challenges making this the least winning team ever.
Rewards Challenge: For this challenge, Chef Ramsay gave both teams a ten pound lobster. They had to divide the lobster amongst each other and each come up with their own unique lobster dish. The dishes were then judged by three guest judges-- two Michelin starred chef Josiah Citrin from Amazing Melisse, two Michelin starred chef Michael Cimarusti from Providence Restaurant and David LeFevre from the Michelin starred restaurant Water Grill.
Reward / Punishment: The challenge ended in a tie, so Chef Ramsay broke the tie by choosing Holli's dish as being the single best one. This meant that the Red Team got the victory and was rewarded with a visit to the Pretrossian Caviar House to enjoy the world's finest caviar, followed by a shopping trip with $1,000 to blow courtesy of Chef Ramsay. For losing, the Blue Team had to clean both the dorms and prep both kitchens for service. They were told that they could not move on to any prep for the Blue kitchen before the Red kitchen was fully completed. With 15 minutes to go, nothing was yet to be completed in the Blue kitchen, but Chef Ramsay revealed that both teams would be working together in the Red kitchen.
Nominees for Elimination: In this episode, Chef Ramsay placed the two teams together in the Red kitchen, even though they had not yet been formally merged. After they completed what he called their best service yet, he told them to come a consensus on two chefs to nominate for elimination. They chose Ed, calling it a difficult decision, but saying that he slowed down service and needed help. They also went with Autumn for being the weakest cook on both teams.
Eliminated: Neither. Chef Ramsay told Ed to take off his jacket, as he was now part of the final six. With this, he officially merged both kitchens and gave all of the chefs their black jackets.
Eliminated During Service: Following a string of failures on the fish station, Chef Ramsay kicked Nilka out of the kitchen and told her to take off her jacket and leave Hell's Kitchen. Nilka was not happy with this and tried to reenter several times before finally accepting her fate. Once she finally left, Chef Ramsay met her outside and told her to hold her head up high and follow her dreams.
Chef Ramsay: Tonight was the best service we've had in Hell's Kitchen. And that's why I rewarded the final six. Now only the best chefs remain. Nilka was clearly out of her depth.
Autumn: (in an interview segment) We're six people and it's time to bring out the claws.
Jay: (in an interview segment) Hurricane Nilka just had an absolute category five meltdown.
(Nilka has been eliminated during service, but comes back into the kitchen and tries to plead her way back into service)
Chef Ramsay: Nilka!
Nilka: I wanna cook!
Chef Ramsay: Get out!
Jason: (in an interview segment) Nilka just kept getting hit. Like a ship by torpedo, after torpedo, after torpedo and then finally just, she just sunk to the bottom of the ocean and Chef just-- she needed to go.
Autumn: (in an interview segment) We were moving, moving, moving except for one person, uh, Nilka.
Chef Ramsay: You, madam, wake up.
Nilka: I'm up, Chef.
Chef Ramsay: You're up? No, you're down. You're fast asleep.
Holli: (in an interview segment) I don't know if caviar is an aphrodisiac, but I've been locked in a dorm for I don't even know how long, so I don't think I need an aphrodisiac. I'm ready to go crazy right now.
Autumn: (in an interview segment) I think that Holli's been flying under the radar. I think she has great potential to be really strong in this competition.
Ed: (in an interview segment) Jay thinks that he knows more than everybody else. I don't let that bother me. Uh, if I let that bother me, that's when I fall apart.
