The taste test is completely rigged. So far the girls always win this challenge which I find real suspicious. I also find that last seasons winner was the biggest let down ever. She sucked in the kitchen and couldn't run it. Was pathetic.

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (3)

    • To Be Continued: Trev was asked to step forward at the end of the episode, but whatever happens to him will not be revealed until the next episode.

    • Rewards Challenge: For this challenge, both teams were given $60 to shop for ingredients at Bristol Farms to cook dishes made of beef, pork, lamb and chicken. They then had 45 minutes to each cook a dish, with Jillian and Gail pairing up, as the Red Team had one extra member.

Reward / Punishment: The dishes were judged by four special guest judges-- Mark Peel - pork, Sophie Gayot - beef, Libby Rego - chicken and Justin Wyborn - lamb. Each was asked to state a dollar amount that they'd pay for the dishes. The Red Team won the challenge with a total of $110 to the Blue Team's $101. For winning, the Red Team got to travel the ocean on a sailboat, then enjoyed dinner on the waterfront at Maya Hotel. For losing, the Blue Team was made to clean up the dining room ahead of a black-tie dinner service, then cover and wrap both kitchens and fumigate them.

    • Nominees for Elimination: The Blue Team lost the evening's service. They were kicked out before service was completed and the Red Team was sent in to complete their tables. As such, they were made to nominate two chefs for elimination. However, they ended up putting up three. They nominated Boris for crashing and burning, but said that they had a tie between Rob and Vinny. Chef Ramsay asked all three to step forward.

      Eliminated: Boris

  • QUOTES (15)

    • Chef Ramsay: Tonight should have been a dream. What an embarrassment.

    • Sabrina: (in an interview segment) We won and we didn't even need Trevor's stupid ass.

    • Trev: (in an interview segment) They expected me to be Superman and Clark Kent showed up.

    • Jillian: My lobster's up and you have no garnish.
Trev: (in an interview segment) Get off my station and let me cook.

    • Russell: (in an interview segment) Boris is a brain-dead, dumb ****. I think it's ridiculous how long the apps were taking.

    • Chef Ramsay: (shouting at Boris) I'm gonna go ****ing ballistic. Get a grip!
Rob: I have my own things to do right now. But let me tell you, if I don't help Boris, my ****'s never gonna make it out.

    • Chef Ramsay: James.
      James: Yes, Chef?
Chef Ramsay: Never thought I'd say this, but open Hell's Kitchen for the hundredth service.

    • Chef Ramsay: Every time you look at those chef's tables, think, you could be part of that elite group and if that doesn't give you anymore inspiration, I don't know what will.

    • Sabrina: (in an interview segment) The negative focus is off of me and it's starting to be on Trevor.

    • Boris: (in an interview segment) Russ, he's not a good leader. He's just a ***. I'm tired of that ****.

    • Russell: (in an interview segment) It's gonna be no more Mr. Nice Guy. I'm gonna shove my foot up somebody's *** tonight.

    • Vinny: I'm so disappointed in myself right now. (in an interview segment) It was so embarrassing for me tonight. I was defeated by Sabrina, the most inexperienced chef on the team.

    • Sabrina: (in an interview segment, following the Red Team's challenge victory) I said I wasn't gonna cry in front of Chef Ramsay, but when you're this happy, like, it's okay.

    • Sabrina: (in an interview segment) I don't need their ****ing help. I wanna show Chef Ramsay that I'm a good cook and I deserve to be here.

    • Russell: (in an interview segment) Shopping together as a team is like shopping with three children.

  • NOTES (3)

    • In honor of the show's 100th episode, Chef Gordon Ramsay shared on the web a set of cooking tips, which were as follows:

Prepare for Success - Before you begin cooking a dish, have all your ingredients prepared and ready to use.
Patience Is A Virtue - When cooking a steak, be patient and make sure the pan is sizzling hot before adding the meat. This ensures a perfectly seared meat.
The Spice of Life - Always keep garlic ready to use in the freezer. Blitz a few cloves in the blender and freeze them in an ice cube tray. They're perfect for use in sauces and stews.
Don't Be Wasteful - After cooking chicken, fish or beef, don't toss the leftover bones – they are key to making perfectly flavored stock! Simmer the bones in water with a carrot, an onion, several peppercorns and a bay leaf for one to two hours.
Keep It Hot, Hot, Hot! - Never open the oven when baking. The cold air will sink your cake.
