The final two chefs compete in the final episode of the eighth season of Hell's Kitchen. The chefs prepare their menus and then complete the final dinner service, aided by previously eliminated chefs. The winner is determined and rewarded with a head chef position at LA LIVE restaurant, carrying a quarter of a million dollar salary, as well as becoming the spokesperson for Rosemount Estate Wines.
morelessChallenge: For their finale challenge, the two aspiring chefs, Russell and Nona, were taken to the LA Market, the restaurant that one of them would become head chef in. There, they had to cook five dishes - soup, salad, pasta, fish and meat and present them to five esteemed judges - all of them top people within the local culinary industry. Russell won this challenge with a score of 3-2 and for winning he got to have first pick of the returning chefs that made up the brigade.
Nona is the winner of the eighth season of Hell's Kitchen, becoming the Head Chef at LA Market and having the opportunity to be the spokesperson for Rosemount Wise Estates.
Chef Ramsay: (explaining why he picked Nona as the winner) When Hell's Kitchen first started, I used to say, 'No, no, no!' to Nona. After every service, she improved dramatically, and I was soon saying 'Yes, yes, yes.' She has a phenomenal palate and a real passion for cooking. Soon, all of America will be saying 'Yes' with me, when they see her excel as the head chef of LA Market. (in Hell's Kitchen) You had to deliver a knockout punch and you did it.
Russell: (in an interview segment) I'm pissed. I'm not happy at all.
Nona: (in an interview segment) Awww, ha ha! My door opened. It opened. This is nuts.
Chef Ramsay: Your scores were incredibly close. I really wish I could give the job to both of you. But I can't.
Nona: VIP, it's my husband, don't **** it up.
Boris: (in an interview segment) I'm not a ****ing child. I'm 38 years old. I mean, come on.
Nona: (in an interview segment) Putting Boris on fish is an absolute risky, risky move. But no one is gonna drag me down tonight.
Russell: (in an interview segment) Vinny, if you wanna be on the other team, by all means, get the **** out of here.
Russell: (in an interview segment) If somebody can't get the job done, it's gonna get ugly.
Nona: (in an interview segment) Boris is my biggest concern right now. He's just slow. Like mentally.
Russell: (in an interview segment) My menu is elegant, it's contemporary, and it's simple.
Russell: (in an interview segment) I feel great. I feel like a million bucks. Bring on the hookers.
Chef Ramsay: The next time the doors to Hell's Kitchen open, the restaurant will be yours.
