    • Alhambra: Are you ready? Alucard. To go back to your true home... Back to hell?

    • Anderson: Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; Thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel; Be wise now therefore, O ye kings; Be instructed ye judges of the Earth; Serve the Lord with fear... and rejoice with trembling; Kiss the son... lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindeled but a little; Arise O Lord;
      Enrico: What?! No Anderson! Stop it!
      Anderson: Let the heathen by judged in thy sight. I shall purify all in one righteous sweep! Stand before me!

    • Enrico Maxwell: Nosferatu Alucard. Hellsing's trashman! Their famed assassin! This is the first time I've seen you in person. It's nice to meet you, Alucard.
      Alucard: It's nice to meet you too, Maxwell... And good-bye! You come here and call my master a swine... (Points his gun at Enrico) Don't think you'll be leaving here alive... Because I'm going to kill you where you stand, you bastard!

  • Notes

    • This episode finishes up volume 2, covers all of volume 3, and the 1st chapter of volume 4, of the original Hellsing manga.

  • Allusions

    • In this episode, Alucard calls Alexander Anderson "Judas Priest" which has a double meaning. In one context, it is a reference to Anderson being a warrior priest (or paladin), as well as being one of many self-proclaimed "disciples of Jude Iscariot" who are those which make up Vatican Section XIII, Iscariot. However, in another context, this is a reference to the British heavy metal band which shares the same name.

    • At the end of this episode, the major is heard singing the 2nd ending theme to the anime series Fist of the North Star.

    • The spirit that shows up in Seras' dream looks very much like Vladimir Harkonnen from Frank Herbert's Dune series.
