Episode Summary

Jan and Luke Valentine are continuing their assault on the Hellsing organization headquarters, though Walter, Seras and Alucard are well prepared to fight them back and they take up their positions. Walter and Seras plan to fight off Jan and his ghoul army, though Alucard decides to sit back and wait for Luke to head his way, in which he then plans to fight him. However, with a meeting of very important people taking place on the third flood, along with the fact that the Hellsing organization doesn't know who is the true mastermind behind the attack, Integra Hellsing realizes that it's going to be somewhat more difficult than she originally expected.moreless

      • The original Japanese airdate is November 14, 2001. Edit
      • In this episode you see Alucard and Victoria's true vampiric powers. Alucard releases his Control Art Restrictions to Level 1, known as 'The Cromwell Approval', which allows complete unrestricted access to his powers for a short period of time. This causes Alucard to lose his physical form and become a shadowy liquid that can take any shape. His arms turn into black dogs with many eyes that can bite his enemies with ferocious strength and speed that nearly matches Luke Valentine; who can do seemingly nothing to harm Alucard. Victoria also has her inner power reveal itself, albeit in a much less spectacular fashion. She gains far greater physical strength, overpowering all of Jan's Ghoul's even when they attack her all at once. This power only lasts for a few minutes and is never reawakened afterward. Edit
      • In this episode you see Walter fight and how he received the title 'Angel of Death' (and Alucards respect). He attacks with glowing razor-sharp wires that he commands with a combination of physical movement and telekinetic ability. The wires have many advantages over guns, as they travel much faster than bullets, usually killing whoever fired them before they can get a second shot off. Of course, the wires would be ineffective if Walter wasn't such an expert with them. He uses his own speed to dodge incoming fire, literally swooping between bullets, whilst the wires get to work tying themselves around Ghouls necks. All Walter has to do is tug on wires to decapitate them. Edit

      • Walter: I'm surprised they managed to get so many ghouls inside. The first floor is completely overrun and now the second is almost lost. Seras: And sir Integra? Alucard: She's up stairs, third floor. Seras: We have to rescue her! Walter (to Seras): I was just heading up there myself, would you care to accompany me? Alucard: The angel of death, it's been too long. Walter (laughing): The old dog and the new girl, the two of us make a perfect pair! Edit
      • Integra: The ordeals of the first members of the Hellsing family in the last century were much harsher than this. No matter how intelligent or how strong they are, they are still nothing but vampire rubbish. They will not destroy the Hellsing family, these monsters dare to enter this house built on blood and honor, I will see them all raised in the deepest pits of hell! Edit
      • Jan: Damn, I don't believe I left someone breathing on this floor. (Jan's cigar breaks and his ghouls begin to die) Walter: Oh dear, I missed! I suppose I'm not as spry as I used to be. Jan: Who the **** are you, old man? Walter: Walter Dornez, retainer of the Hellsing family and Hellsing organization member, retired. Shall we? Jan: Get him boys! (His ghouls attack Walter, Walter destroys them all) Walter: Too slow, you're far too slow! Ghouls are fine, but I have fought against the true armies of the undead! Alucard (still in his room): Ha ha! Don't push yourself, Angel of Death! Edit

      • During this episode, Jan Valentine mockingly calls Walter by the name of Alfred. This is a reference to Batman, as both Walter and Alfred were butlers. Edit
