  • He-Man's friend Granamyr is lead to believe that humans are starting a war with dragons.

Nice episode. Another episode with dragons. Even though the show reused a lot of footage, none of that is evident here. As great a quality you will get from the show.

A different twist to the dragon's story by having a rival dragon, Morning Star, start with a war with humans all the way manipulating everybody to believe that the humans started it first. He-Man has to retreive Granamyr's fire in order for Granamyr to put an end to the war. The dragon drawings look decent. Granamyr looks great as before. Episode has a lot of action and moves quickly plus comedy from Orko. It's a nice episode.moreless

      Orko: But I do!
      Man-at-Arms: Well, some days...

    • Granamyr: Well, how did it feel to have a taste of dragon power?
Orko: Next time, I think I'll stay home and read a book. I'm pooped!

    • He-Man: What was the terms between the dragons and humans?
Man-at-Arms: That the dragons would withdraw from the rest of the world, that the dragons could do what they want and that humans would leave them alone.
He-Man: Doesn't sound like much of a bargain!

  • NOTES (1)

    • This was Granamyr's final appearance in the He-Man series, and the only Granamyr episode to be written by J. Michael Straczynski rather than his creator Larry DiTillio. Straczynski later wrote a She-Ra episode based around Granamyr, called "Darksmoke and Fire".
