When Skeletor is about to attack Grayskull he says "Without He-Man to defend it". Skeletor didn't send He-Man anywhere so why did he think He-Man wouldn't be there?
When Teela points her sword at Trapjaw, her collar is colored white!
Adam's belt is red in one shot when Orko is preforming his magic show.
When Stratos swoops down and catches Evil-Lyn in her own cloak, there appears to be a few frames where his beard disappears!
When He-Man grabs Beast Man during the battle outside Castle Grayskull, there is a shot from behind Beast Man where his ears are mis-coloured, as orange the same as his body, not the correct beige to match his face.
He-Man: (Speaking to the camera) In today's story, Skeletor was looking for a shortcut, a quick way to riches and power. You may know some people like that - always looking for the quick way to get ahead of everybody else. Well, it doesn't work that way. The people who succeed are the ones who work for what they want, so don't be fooled by those who say they have a sure thing - there's always a catch to it. Don't sell yourself short. The right way is the best way. (Saying goodbye) Until later.
He-Man: By the power of Greyskull I command the draw-bridge open!
Trapjaw: My energy bow will finish you!
He-Man: (After deflecting three energy blasts) I guess they just don't make energy bows like they used to.
Prince Adam: By the Power of Grayskull!
(transforms into He-Man)
He-Man:I have the Power!
Although not neccessarily introducing the characaters and premise as much as one might expect the first episode to do, this episode does have signs of being the first one; most notably as Skeletor has Beast Man call their key warriors (Mer-Man, Evil-Lyn, Tri-Klops, and Trap Jaw) from around the Universe to bring them in on his latest plan.
Surprisingly, after the evil warriors introduction, the key heroic warriors are given relatively little introduction, much less than one might expect for the first episode.
The series made it's U.K. debut with this episode, on September 5th 1983, as part of Children's ITV (scheduled 4:20 - 4:45 p.m.)
