Why does He-Man destroy Beastman's oxygen bottle when Man At Arms warned him to protect his own like water in the desert. Wouldn't He-Man benefit from saving it, having more oxygen for himself when dealing with Skeletor?
Why does He-Man need oxygen in this episode when in later ones he could survive not only without oxygen but also the vacuum of space
When Garth 'evolves' into his butterfly form, it does not make sense to assume that simply jumping into the sea speeded up a chemical reaction!
When Skeletor pours out insults at Garth, calling him hideous and ugly, He-Man basically agrees with him almost implying he thinks Skeletor is attractive?
Why is Garth given a new 'beautiful' form at the end of the episode, when the whole point of the story has been not to judge people by appearance?
Teela: Today we met Garth who to some people looked like a monster. But Garth wasn't a monster; he was a good person with a noble soul. And in the end his beauty showed through. Real beauty comes from inside which is why ugly people can sometimes be the most beautiful people to know, and why people who look beautiful sometimes act very ugly. Being beautiful on the outside is alright, but being beautiful on the inside, that's the best.
He-Man: No sacrifice is for nothing if it helps other people, Skeletor. And your selfishness will be your own undoing!
The character Garth later made a return appearance in season 2's "The Bitter Rose".
