  • Trivia

    • This is one of the most important episodes of the series, shedding important light on Eternia's history as well as The Sorceress' past.

  • Quotes

    • He-Man: Before you go, Sorceress, I want to thank you for all that you've done. Not just today, but for all those years you patiently waited...protecting Castle Grayskull.
Sorceress: It has been the highest honor, He-Man. And it has been, and always will be, a joy for me to call you my friend.

    • He-Man: Today we learned about the importance of taking the responsibility to care about our fellow man. If you have a friend who needs help, who's having a difficult time, do whatever you can to help them out. Because as you saw in today's episode, no matter how big the problem, one person or one living creature can make a big difference. See you next time.

    • He-Man: That's it, Morgoth! Everything has it's fracture point, and I've just reached mine!

  • Notes

    • This is the only He-Man episode which features a direct allusion to the She-Ra series. We see She-Ra's sword of protection as well as some early Horde Troopers and soldiers wearing Horde Bat Symbols, during the Horde War which was detailed in "The Secret of the Sword."

    • This episode features the only appearance by the toy version of Stridor in the series, although prototype versions had previously appeared in several season 1 episodes.
