    Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

    FILTER BY TYPE

    • TRIVIA (4)

      • Moss Man's voice is different in this episode (his second appearance and final speaking role) to his original voice in his first appearance 'Here, There, Skeletors Everywhere'.

      • Rather than the traditional false moustache and beard, this false beard Trap-Jaw wears (for the entire episode) is a beard with no mustache.

      • This is the second episode after "A Bird in the Hand" to portray Melaktha ridiculously out of character. Once again he is depicted as being stupid rather than wise like in his early appearances, and throughout the episode he spouts out countless insults towards Moss Man, which are almost racist.

      • How many times have we seen in not only this episode but others where He-Man's sword and sheath mysteriously disappear from his back in one scene (while he's pulling the ship back to port) and reappear in the next?!

    • NOTES (1)

      • This episode was originally intended to be one of the most important in the series- possibly a two-parter, it was going to tell the entire history of Eternia through the mirror. However, for some reason Robert Lamb was unable to go ahead with this plot and had to hastily develop a different plot to follow on- hence why the mirror is wasted in the final episode, and the story seems so unfinished.
