The Dragon Invasion was an exciting episode of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. I liked the story but thought maybe the dragons would have been more powerful or varying in look and abilities. There were some great action scenes. Skeletor seems popowerful but never quite wins. It seems Castle Grayskull is in constant danger. I liked how things played out. I look forward to watching what happens next!!!!!!!!!

  • QUOTES (3)

    • Orko: In today's story Skeletor tried to conquer Eternia by using animals in an evil way. Animals like all living things should be treated with kindness and respect. I hope that those of you who have a dog or cat or maybe even a hamster remember that. When we have a pet we also have a responsibility because they depend on us, but you can be sure of one thing. However much we love them, they return that love, and more. Well, time for me to disappear, bye.

    • Skeletor: Sorceress! I will control Castle Grayskull! Stop me...if you dare!

    • Skeletor: Grayskull has fallen, He-Man...to me!

  • NOTES (3)

    • Apparently the reason why Jitsu's role was so small, and he was never used again, was because the Filmation staff found the character stereotypical of Asians and were uneasy about using him, so his near non-existent part in the series is due to political correctness.

    • This episode has the series's single appearance of evil warrior Jitsu. Although seen throughout the episode, he has very little dialogue, and only loosley resembles the figure (he was probably included as Mattel tried to promote some of their then upcoming new batch of figures). Also, in the script, he is referred to as Chopper (the character's early prototype name), though is not actually referred to by any actual name on-screen.

    • The video release of this episode has a small but very noticable variation on the dialogue of the opening credits. Instead of He-Man's standard "...Together we defend Castle Grayskull from the evil forces of Skeletor", this version has "...Together we defend Castle Grayskull from the evil Masters Of The Universe!" This alternative version seems to be an early, otherwise unused version of the opening credits (To note is that in some early Mattel MOTU literature, Skeletor and the Evil Warriors were the ones referred to as 'Masters Of The Universe', which is probably where this curious variation arose from).
